In SiteDude Booking, you can assign predefined roles such as\u00a0Employee<\/strong>,\u00a0Admin<\/strong>, or\u00a0Superadmin<\/strong>\u00a0to your users. These roles come with default permissions. Alternatively, you can create\u00a0custom roles<\/strong>\u00a0with specific permissions tailored to your needs.\u00a0Custom roles<\/strong> allow you to control the level of access and management for each user by specifying which SiteDude Booking entities they can view, manage, or delete.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The\u00a0Custom Roles<\/strong>\u00a0feature for SiteDude Booking is considered a premium feature, and it will be counted towards your total number of Custom Features & Integrations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Once you enable\u00a0Custom Roles<\/strong>\u00a0on your\u00a0Features & Integrations<\/strong>\u00a0page and click on the \u201cSet Up\u201d button, you will be redirected to the\u00a0Users and Roles -> Roles<\/strong>\u00a0page. Here, you will see a list of existing roles. To create a new custom role, simply click on the \u201c+ Add Role<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Upon clicking the \u201c+ Add Role<\/strong>\u201d button, you will be prompted to enter the name of your role, select a color, and provide a description. The description will be displayed on the Roles list, allowing you to have a brief summary of each role for easy reference.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Under these options, you will find a list of different permissions that you can enable to give different levels of access to SiteDude Booking with each role:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Manage billing and plans:<\/strong>\u00a0This permission allows users to access and edit information related to the chosen plan, such as the number of services, employees, features, and integrations in the plan, as well as billing sections.<\/li>\n
  2. Manage settings:<\/strong>\u00a0Users with this permission can view and edit everything on the Settings and Customize pages.<\/li>\n
  3. View all appointments:<\/strong>\u00a0Enabling this option allows users to see all appointments booked through SiteDude Booking. Suboptions like \u201cManage all appointments\u201d and \u201cDelete all appointments\u201d enable users to create, edit, and delete all appointments.<\/li>\n
  4. View user\u2019s own appointments:<\/strong>\u00a0This permission shows users the Appointments page, where they can only see appointments assigned to them. Suboptions \u201cManage own appointments\u201d and \u201cDelete own appointments\u201d allow users to create, edit, and delete their own appointments.<\/li>\n
  5. Allow users to book appointments outside of working hours:<\/strong>\u00a0Enabling this option allows the role-holder to book appointments outside of employees\u2019 working hours, effectively overriding the employee\u2019s schedule. (This option can also be enabled in the default\u00a0Admin<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Superadmin<\/strong>\u00a0roles)<\/li>\n
  6. Allow users to book over an existing appointment:<\/strong>\u00a0Enabling this option permits users to book overlapping appointments, on top of existing appointments.\u00a0(This option can also be enabled in the default\u00a0Admin<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Superadmin<\/strong>\u00a0roles)<\/li>\n
  7. View calendar:<\/strong>\u00a0Users with this permission can see the Calendar page. However, the appointments displayed will depend on their Appointment permission.<\/li>\n
  8. View dashboard:<\/strong>\u00a0This permission allows users to view the Dashboard page. The displayed content will correspond to other permissions, showing appointments, occupancy, and services.<\/li>\n
  9. View all employees:<\/strong>\u00a0Users can see the Employee page and all created employees. Suboptions like \u201cManage all employees\u201d and \u201cDelete all employees\u201d enable users to create, edit, and delete employees.<\/li>\n
  10. Manage user\u2019s own employee profile:<\/strong>\u00a0Users can edit their own employee settings, such as working hours, special days, and days off.<\/li>\n
  11. View all customers:<\/strong>\u00a0Users with this permission can see all customers. Suboptions \u201cManage all customers\u201d and \u201cDelete all customers\u201d enable users to add, edit, and delete customers.<\/li>\n
  12. View only user\u2019s own customers:<\/strong>\u00a0This permission limits users to seeing only customers who have booked an appointment with them or those they have created. Suboptions \u201cManage own customers\u201d and \u201cDelete own customers\u201d allow users to create, edit, and delete their own customers.<\/li>\n
  13. View all services:<\/strong>\u00a0Users can see the Service page and all existing services. Suboptions \u201cManage all services\u201d and \u201cDelete all services\u201d enable users to add, edit, and delete services.<\/li>\n
  14. View all locations:<\/strong>\u00a0This permission allows users to see the Locations page and all existing locations. Suboptions \u201cManage all locations\u201d and \u201cDelete all locations\u201d enable users to add, edit, and delete locations.<\/li>\n
  15. View taxes:<\/strong>\u00a0Users can access the Taxes section on the Finance page. \u201cManage taxes\u201d allows users to create, edit, and assign taxes to services and extras, while \u201cDelete taxes\u201d enables the deletion of taxes.<\/li>\n
  16. View coupons:<\/strong>\u00a0Users with this permission can access the Coupon section on the Finance page. Suboptions \u201cManage coupons\u201d and \u201cDelete coupons\u201d allow users to add, edit, and delete coupons. The \u201cView coupon history\u201d option shows the Coupon History section, displaying appointments where coupons were used.<\/li>\n
  17. View all invoices and transactions:<\/strong>\u00a0Users can see the Invoice and Transactions section on the Finance page. \u201cChange all invoices status\u201d allows users to change invoice statuses, and \u201cManage invoice settings\u201d enables viewing and editing of invoice settings.<\/li>\n
  18. View only user\u2019s own invoices and transactions:<\/strong>\u00a0Similar to the previous permission, this allows users to see the Invoice and Transaction sections, but limited to appointments they are assigned to. Suboptions \u201cChange own invoices status\u201d allow users to change invoice statuses for their own appointments.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
