Backing up your WordPress website is crucial for safeguarding your data and ensuring you can restore your site in case of any issues. As SiteDu.de client, these backups are enabled for you automatically. Follow these steps to download and restore a backup of your WordPress website using cPanel and JetBackup 5.
1. Login to your server backend via cPanel #
Access the cPanel by entering one of the following URLs in your browser:
- https://yourdomain.com:2083 or
- https://yourdomain.com/cpanel
Replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name.
Log In to cPanel: You will be prompted to enter your Username and Password. Input your credentials to log in.

2. Navigate to JetBackup 5 (in the files section) #
Access the Files section and select JetBackup 5.

3. Click on Full Backups #
To view existing full backups, navigate to Restore & Download → Full Backups.

4. Choose your desired backup #
Here, you can view the complete backups created for the cPanel account. Additionally, you’ll find details on the schedules, destinations, and organization of these generated backups.

5. Restore or download your backup #
To initiate a restoration, select the backup of your choice from the list and then click on “Restore.” For downloading, simply use the “Download” button provided.

6. Choose Restore files #
In the Restore Summary, you’ll have the opportunity to select or deselect items. Simply click on “Restore Selected Items” to proceed. We strongly suggest keeping the current settings intact.

7. Review restoration #
The back-end restoration process is now underway, and you can track its progress by navigating to Jetbackup → Queue. Once the restoration is complete, a “Complete” message will appear in the Status section. Congratulations! You have successfully restored a full backup using Jetbackup 5.
